September was an exceptionally interesting month – besides the usual monthly summary, I also managed to do a small comparison test with the new Škoda Elroq RS.
📍 Test route: from Mińsk Mazowiecki along the A2/S2 to the Wał Miedzeszyński exit in Warsaw, then through Karczew and Sobiekursk and back to Mińsk on the DK50.
➡️ 89 km in total.
🔋 Tesla Model Y vs Škoda Elroq RS comparison
| Parameter | Tesla Model Y | Škoda Elroq RS |
|---|---|---|
| Average consumption (on the test route) | 14.05 kWh/100 km | 18.9 kWh/100 km |
| Net battery capacity | approx. 75 kWh | approx. 79 kWh |
| Battery degradation | ~3.2% (according to Tessie) | no data (new) |
| Real-world range (at this consumption) | approx. 530 km | approx. 410 km |
| Model year/test | 2024 (1 year in use) | 2025 (new model) |
👉 The difference is clear – the Tesla not only uses less energy, but also offers more range despite a smaller battery and a year of use.
September with the Tesla – summary 🚗⚡️
- 📊 Distance driven: 2597 km
- 🔋 Energy used: 394.6 kWh
- ⚖️ Average consumption: 15.2 kWh/100 km
Additionally:
- 📅 On 28 September 2025 the Tesla celebrated its first birthday 🎂
- 📉 Battery degradation according to Tessie: 3.2%

So September showed two faces of electromobility – on one hand a solid year of experience with the Tesla, on the other the chance to try out a competitor. The verdict? The Tesla still impresses with its efficiency and real-world range. 🔋🚀
