The last few days have been full of experiences and new observations from our Tesla travels. Here's a short summary of what happened:
Problems with GreenWay
- I ran into a bug that makes it impossible to change my subscription plan in the GreenWay system.
- I reported the problem to customer service, but so far with no result – I keep hitting a wall. Maybe it'll get sorted after Christmas.
- The potential loss is about 50 PLN gross, which will show up in my charging costs, but in January I plan to use GreenWay more, so maybe it'll even out.
New stations at Lidl stores
- New charging stations have started going live at Lidl stores. Unfortunately, DC charging costs 2.40 PLN per kWh and you can't use the Elocity app.
- I hope it's only a temporary inconvenience, because although the price is high, an invoice would be very welcome.
Matrix headlight settings
- I spent some time fine-tuning the Matrix LED settings. Maybe now the lights will work more precisely and better match my expectations.
Mileage summary
- Over the last few days we covered a total of 369 km.
- Consumption came to 76 kWh, which gives an average of 20.6 kWh/100 km.
- About 80% of the distance was motorway, with a lot of battery heating (the Tesla was parked at -2°C before charging).
- The car's current mileage is already 12,256 km.
Issues reported to mobile service
- The driver's seat has started creaking again.
- During the trip to Łódź there were noises from the backrest – apparently it just needs re-greasing.
- The passenger seat belt has also started making noise.
- Fogged-up lights: quite a lot of condensation has appeared inside. They may need replacing, but for now they're under observation.
Takeaways
Despite the minor faults, Tesla's service remains top-notch. It's exactly this aspect that puts Tesla in a different league for me. Problems get solved efficiently, and driving itself remains pure pleasure, even on cold days before Christmas.
