Sometimes the little things bring the most joy – and the Tesla is perfect at that. The last few days brought some interesting events, promotions and small lessons worth remembering.
Free charging at Eleport Warsaw
A new Eleport charging station has opened on Światowida Street in Warsaw, and to celebrate, you can charge there for free until 18 December 2024. J and I went there out of pure curiosity and… it's true! We managed to put in almost 40 kWh for 0 PLN.
What's more, right next door (literally across the street) is Galeria Północna with a GreenWay promotion, which means people living in the area have really great conditions for charging EVs. A perfect spot on the map of Warsaw!
A GreenWay promo fail
Not everything always goes to plan. I caught myself making a small organisational mistake with the GreenWay promotion. I added the free 15 kWh to the Standard package, but before I used it, I switched to the MAX package to take advantage of additional promotions:
- 25 free kWh from EVklub.pl
- 40 free kWh from GreenWay
The result? Those 15 kWh were lost, unused. I only noticed while charging at Galeria Mokotów, when I saw that after going over the free limit it charged me 8 PLN for over 25 kWh. Well, a lesson for the future: it's worth using J's account without a subscription when I'm planning bigger package changes.
10,000 kilometres – a mini summary
Today the Tesla passed 10,000 kilometres on the odometer, and in under 10 weeks! A good moment for a short reflection.
- Impressions: the car is comfortable, quiet, and driving it is a pleasure.
- Updates: on average every two weeks there's a new software version that brings small fixes or new features.
- Latest novelty: an update added a new visualisation when reversing, which also shows objects in front of the car. A small thing, but it really makes me happy.
Time for mobile service
With such intensive use, the Tesla needs some pampering too. Mobile service will visit me soon to take care of:
- A creaking driver's seat.
- A mirror that is a little short of perfect.
Despite these little things, the Tesla still keeps surprising me in a positive way.
Summary in numbers
- Distance driven: 423 km
- Energy used: 81 kWh
- Average consumption: 19.2 kWh/100 km
Most of the kilometres were on expressways and motorways, and only a small share in town.
Plans for December
We have some trips ahead, so there will definitely be more route write-ups. On top of that, Tesla's holiday software update is coming, and it looks like it will bring some nice surprises. As always – the Tesla makes not only driving more enjoyable, but every month too! 🚗✨
