The last few days brought another Tesla road trip, one that showed how well you can travel in an EV, even without charging at home. Driving across southern Poland and then back home gave some interesting insights into energy consumption and driving comfort.
Thursday: A relaxed drive through the Beskids
A day without any big attractions, but with a pleasant route. The drive from the hotel in Wisła, via lunch in Szczyrk, all the way to the Vienna House in Katowice.

Friday: Heading home
Time to go back! Route: Katowice – A1 – S8 – S2 – local roads to Karczew and Mińsk Mazowiecki. In the morning I was greeted by a beautiful sunrise, but also by plenty of lorries that made smooth driving difficult.

The whole return trip fit into about 80-85% of the battery, which confirms that the Tesla's range is enough for longer journeys without frequent charging stops.
